Kingly Flights of RC Helicopters on the 3D Cup World Edition 2015

End of June. France. Over 50 best pilots of remote controlled helicopters from around the world. And the grandmaster of RC modelling Lukas Vacek is not missing. Which position did he finish at?

The international championship 3D Cup World Edition under the baton of the Jurassic Rotor Team is a holiday for all RC modellers. Contestants in this unofficial world championship in RC helicopter flying are real stars: Teh, Di Fonzo, Bossion, Aubert. All of them deliver a majestic show.
The championship lasted 3 days, from 26th to 28th June, 2015. The pilots of RC helicopters were split into 2 groups (Unlimited and Challengers) and competed in 3 categories: 3D Contest, Speed Cup and the so-called Pylon Racing, i.e. flight with hurdles.
As many as 53 RC modellers from all around the world arrived to fight for first place: 12 pilots in the 3D category, 10 pilots flew in the Speed Cup and 20 pilots in the flight with hurdles. 20 pilots contested in the night flights. All of them created a show that was available online for everyone to watch live in every corner of the world. A record number of small helicopter fans connected, the unbelievable 40 thousand!
In the group of Challengers, the only Czech in the contest, Lukas Vacek, succeeded. After his most successful flight in the Freestyle he even placed 4th. Also thanks to it, he finished in the fantastic 9th place overall.
